The action has heated up in the last 30 minutes, with Brandon Palaniuk finishing his limit, Will Davis Jr boating a 3-pounder, Patrick Walters sticking a chunk on a jig and Justin Hamner catching several on a jerkbait. But this morning up until that point was brutally slow and far from exhilarating. If the last flurry didn’t fire you up and you’re thinking about tuning out, hang on a second.
Here’s some more juice from Ronnie Moore over on the Bassmaster LIVE crew. Jason Christie’s 9-4 yesterday came around 1 p.m. Cliff Prince caught the second largest bass of the event at 2:55 on Day 2, a 6-4. And yesterday, Scott Canterbury and Matt Herren both boated big bass after 2 p.m. The late bite should be strong again today and will likely determine the outcome of this whole event.
