Don’t get lulled to sleep

The bite has slowed on Okeechobee, but don’t get lulled to sleep. Yesterday, 49 bass over 4 pounds were caught between 11 AM and 2 PM. This 3-hour window contained nearly half the bass over 4 pounds that were caught on Day 2.

We are midway into this window now. Bradon Card boated a 6- pound, 4- ounce bass at 11:04. Logan Latuso added a 4-8 at 10:57. Kennedy with a couple of solid 3-pounders in the 11 o’clock hour. And then Will Davis Jr woke us up with a 5- pounder at 11:56. But there hasn’t been an abundance of big fish activity in this major feeding window yet.

The sluggish start to the day can no doubt be related to the cool snap, cloud coverage, and shift in the wind. But stay on your toes. The sun is coming out and the best bite should be ahead. Get ready for some more action this next hour and a half.
