Less than half an hour remains before the first flight is due in. Brandon Palaniuk and Bryan Schmitt are the latest anglers to make a push-up into the Top 10. Hank Cherry with a late-day rally as well, though he sits just outside the cut on BassTrakk right now in 13th place.
For anglers to move up, others have to shuffle down. The most surprising plinko puck of the day is Matt Robertson, who led the first two days. He sits in seventh now with only two for 4 pounds. Steve Kennedy has struggled today as well, with only three fish. But he too currently sits inside the cut in ninth.
It’s been extremely hard, even for the leaders, to consistently get bit on Lakes Marion and Moultrie. This is perhaps the best illustration of that fact. If the Top 10 on BassTrakk holds, half the anglers will have made it to Championship Sunday without having caught a limit all three days.
