Carl Jocumsen started the day in 43rd for Progressive Angler of the Year points, the last man in the Bassmaster Classic.
The only problem for Jocumsen, he’s not on the water today. Finishing 56th this week, Carl has to look on helplessly from the shore while his fate is determined for him today. There has been a lot of competition for that last coveted Classic spot, and some of those anglers are still on the water.
Brock Mosley is one such angler. Based on Mosley’s current standing on BassTrakk, he has bumped Jocumsen out of the Classic by one point. That’s probably one quarter-pound cull across 199 days of Elite Series competition. That’s the kind of stuff that’ll keep you up at night, and run you crazy while you look on from the shore.
Mosley is in 14th currently, and will have to hold onto that spot or improve upon it if he wants to officially oust Jocumsen at the end of the day.
