Midway through Day 2, we have at least two anglers already on track to hit the 100- pound mark. Jay Przekurat sits at an estimated 49-5, likely already over 50-pounds in reality if he makes it to the scales with what he has. And Cory Johnston sits in 2nd with an estimated 47-11 according to BassTrakk. But that number is most certainly skewed, since Johnston’s last fish was entered as a 4-4 into BassTrakk and he repeatedly called it a giant during the fight and once the fish was in the boat. Cory Johnston does not call 4-pounders giants.
Behind these two, there are 6 more two-day totals above 44-pounds already, putting those anglers well within striking distance of the 100-pound mark for four days as well. Going to be another amazing weigh-in.
