Jay Przekurat is one 5-pound bite away from staying on a solid pace to hit 100-pounds tomorrow. He could do it still in theory even if he doesn’t boat another fish today, since we’ve seen a few 27-pound bags this week already. But one more 5-pound bite will have Przekurat averaging a 5-pounder per fish over three days with 75-pounds going into the final day.
There are certainly still others in good position to get there, with another dozen or so anglers just a bite or two from nearing the 75-pound mark for three days as well. We’ll know a lot more in a couple of hours as to who still has a legitimate shot.
