The Bassmaster Elite Series pros are getting spoiled lately with the ease of hitting 100 pounds when we visit Lake Fork. It’s happened all four years that the Elites have visited Lake Fork.
In 2019, Brandon Cobb (114-0) and Garrett Paquette (101-15) achieved it.
In 2020, Patrick Walters (104-12) notched it in the fall.
In 2021, Lee Livesay (112-5) and Patrick Walters (102-5) both had huge final days to accomplish that.
2022 is no different as Lee Livesay and Brandon Palaniuk knocked it out about halfway through the Final Day despite the relatively slow day of action.
This is the 49th and 50th instance of breaking 100 pounds in the B.A.S.S. 5-bass era. Livesay is the 10th angler all time to have two or more Century Club belts.
It gives Lake Fork seven Century Club’s and that passes Lake Amistad and ties Clear Lake for the third most on a given lake.
More to come possibly as Gerald Swindle is just 6-15 away at 11:15 a.m. CT.
