Bassmaster LIVE crew member Mike Suchan just reported that the 20th bass over 4 pounds has been caught by Steve Kennedy. Kennedy now has three fish for more than 15 pounds. Entering the third hour of Day 2, the big ones are definitely biting.
A snapshot of the Top 10 on BassTrakk as of 9:20 EDT shows 25 combined fish caught by these anglers for a cumulative weight of right at 100 pounds. That’s a 4-pound average per fish. Dump the 8 smallest fish that are barely keepers, and that average skyrockets to over 5-pounds per fish. The five biggest belong to Matt Robertson (6-0), Luke Palmer (5-10), Brandon Cobb (7-0), Ray Hanselman Jr (6-0, 6-4).
