Bernie Schultz just put a nice smallmouth in the boat. We’ve seen a steady supply of the bronze backs here on Pickwick this week. Taku Itu has put several in the boat and we saw some nice ones make it to the stage yesterday, including a couple in the 4- pound range. The Tennessee River is known as one of the southern most places where an angler can go to intentionally target smallmouth, and she’s living up to here reputation this week.
