There were 16 bass over 3 pounds caught in the first 60 minutes of competition this morning, the best early big bite window we’ve seen all week. Considering there are only 50 anglers on the water today, and taking into consideration many spent the first half hour getting to their starting spots, this is the kind of early we’ve been waiting for. And it could be a sign of things to come, with a massive wave finally moving shallow.
