Photos: Behind the Curtain at Auburn University

Take a Behind the Curtain look at one of college bass fishing's brightest programs - the Auburn Tigers.

Welcome to Auburn University, home of the Tigers.
Not only is Auburn a prominent school for SEC athletics, it is also home to one of the most impressive bass fishing teams in the country.
The loveliest village on the plains is just a short drive from Lake Martin and other lakes in the South Alabama region.
Auburn has a beautiful campus that any university would be proud of.
Over the years, Auburn has had success in every major sport, including basketball.
While talking to the Auburn anglers, they all mentioned that spending Saturdays in the fall at Jordan-Hare Stadium as a team is one of their favorite things to do.
Toomer’s Corner is one of the most notable locations in Auburn.
A lemonade from Toomer’s Corner is a must.
Pair the lemonade with a burger from Whataburger across the street and you’re all set!
From Toomer’s Corner to former President of the Bass Club Carson Maddux’s crib.
Because why wouldn’t there be a mannequin rocking an Auburn Bass Fishing Jersey.
As you would expect, rods and reels were laid out all over the place.
An old school B.A.S.S. branded Busch Beer neon light is one of the most prized possession of the crib.
Most fridges are filled with magnets and reminders, but not here.
An old school Bassmaster weigh-in bag is used for laundry purposes.
From one Auburn Bass Fishing crib to another.
This time we’re at the “Bassin’ Shack”. Home to Auburn anglers Hayden Marbut, Sam Harvey and current Opens EQ angler Tucker Smith.
The Bassin’ Shack is one of the main hangouts for anglers on the team.
One of the prized items of the Bassin’ Shack is the Strike King Bassmaster College Series National Championship trophy that was won by Hayden Marbut and Tucker Smith.
Hayden Marbut made the comment that bass anglers run off of gas station food, and that was evident as gas station pizza was on the menu for dinner.
As one would expect, Marbut’s room was full of fishing tackle.
Tucker Smith was out of town, but we still got to see inside his room.
An entire bait wall takes up a large portion of the room.
Sam Harvey lucked out with the biggest room in the house that even has access to the pond in the back yard.
