Downtime
Hi! It's me, Becky. I'm going to fill in for Mike this week. Classic week was tough on me. I really wanted to be there, but I couldn't travel that far with our baby, Vegas, or at least that's what the doctor said.

Ryan McMurtury took the title of 2010 Bassmaster Weekend Series National Champion.
It's been about a week now since the Classic has been over. I have a few more thoughts about it that I'd like to share.
Today was a little different. I caught 18 pounds, 9 ounces. It was enough to validate my strategy and my choice of spots.
It was the same thing all over again — including no big fish in my livewell. Call it Groundhog Day.
OK guys, by now you know the results from yesterday, the first day of competition. I had about as good a day as a guy can ask for in this business except that I didn't catch big enough bass.
Here's the deal: I'm really pumped up about this Classic. I can't say I've ever felt this way.
We've all been a little concerned about the fog. We're making long runs and delays can be costly as far as fishing time is concerned, not to mention the safety issues involved.
There are some things you just can't get enough of. Practice for a big tournament is one of them.
