It was obvious at the Cooters Pond takeoff site that the water was dropping big time. But we just saw another example. Bobby Lane was crossing to the other side of the old bridge in Wetumpka when his prop hit a rock.
"There was five feet of water there yesterday," Lane said. "The trees I was fishing yesterday are four feet up on the bank today."
