We’ve moved off David Mullins to get in the middle of a pod of boats.
They include Shane LeHew, Brandon Cobb, Buddy Gross and Austin Felix.
We’ve seen virtually all of them catch decent fish in the last hour. LeHew, who was in the top 5, yesterday caught his final two keepers in that time. Both were sold 4-pound class fish and he’s moved back into the top 10.
For the first time today the sun is blaring. All the clouds have moved and it’s basically as blue bird as it gets. In these parts that means the smallmouth are loving it. They are visually oriented fish and all of the sudden the lights are on.
We can see the difference. I expect the leaderboard will see it as well from now until the end of the day.
