Rojas on the board early

Dean Rojas has wasted little time in this morning’s round. He’s put his first keeper in the boat in the first 5 minutes.

That’s a big change from yesterday when it took 1 hour and 45 minutes.

We are guessing there could be a lot of changes today.

Yesterday when Rojas was on this spot he had trouble fishing it because of the wind, current and tons of boat traffic.

All he’s dealing with now is the current. There’s not another boat in sight and his boat is actually sitting atop the water instead of bouncing around like a popcorn kernel on heat.

From our viewpoint the fish wasn’t very big. But it does make up ground he sorely needs to catch and pass Jordan Lee.

Lee is probably enjoying more comfortable fishing conditions as well.
Where we might see some changes is this afternoon when the second round guys fish.

The traffic, in one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world, gets horrendous at times.

With the sun out and it being a beautiful day it’s likely boat traffic will just pick up.
