Kenta Kimura is on his way to having another solid day here on Saturday of the Marathon Bassmaster Elite Series at Lake Murray.
The Elite Series Pro has nearly 20-pounds of Lake Murray bass in his Bass Cat livewells and continues his efforts to upgrade.
The Bass Cat motto is, “Feel The Rush,” and what ‘rush’ Kimura hasn’t felt running and gunning on the points today, he’s felt in the Red Bull that’s feeding his adrenaline.
A Riser bait-style presentation with some minor tweaks has been the key so far for Kimura. He seems to have a lot of confidence in that bait presentation and with the recent additions to the boat, I’d agree that he’s made the right choice.
The folks at Bassmaster.com produce an extremely popular feature piece following each tournament called, “Top Lures,” and it will be interesting to see the selection from this event for sure. Kimura’s not the only angler fishing a Riser bait-style presentation, as he has shared a few among this field of anglers, but he may have the only one fueled by Red Bull.
