Prince really needed this one

So far this season, Cliff Prince has posted results less than his ability and experience. This began when he finished 66th in the season opener at the St. Johns River, where the Palatka, Fla., resident has won a lot of money in his 52 years and is usually in contention for an Elite Series title there. His results haven’t improved since, finishing 75th at the Harris Chain and 70th at Santee Cooper and leaving him in 85th place in the AOY standings.

Maybe the 7-pounder that Prince caught at 8:30 this morning is an omen of better things to come. He started the day in 58th place with 11-13 on Day 1. He’s got two other keepers for a total of 10-8 at midmorning.
