Jacob Powroznik just caught his fourth keeper, and the first one he didn't have to measure before putting it in the livewell. He's not showing up on BASSTrakk, but he's got enough weight that he'd still be in the lead there. But that's trivial at this point. He's only got 5 or 6 pounds probably.
Powroznik continues to flip his way down this creek bank, putting his bait in shallow water. "He's fishing in the dirt," as James Overstreet put it.
Obviously, Powroznik wasn't able to take advantage of the shad spawn this morning. We were told a jerkbait bite put a deep bow in his rod in the Indian Mounds area, but it came unbuttoned.
