In many ways Chickamauga is a transitional tournament for Elite anglers. We’re one third of the way through the season and for anglers who did poorly in the first three tournaments now is the time to get right.
One of those guys is Brock Mosley. He came into this week sitting in 82nd place in Angler of the Year. On Day 1 of Chick he has started strong with 14 pounds and currently sits in fourth place. That moves him up to 54th place in AOY, unofficially.
As Steve Wright reported earlier, Daisuke Aoki started today in 94th place in AOY. He’s in first place here at Chick.
Chickamauga is an opportunity for both guys to climb out of deep holes.
