After repeatedly texting Mark Zona last night about his intent to NOT make the 100-mile run to Houston, Brock Mosley called an audible. He is making the run, despite the forecasted winds of 10-15 mph, with gusts to 25 mph.
On the opposite end of the spectrum is Jason Christie, second place behind Mosley. Christie stripped his boat of any excess weight to boost fuel economy for his run toward Toledo Bend Dam. The reason? There is no fuel available on the long run.
“I hope I have a skinny cameraman,” he said on Bassmaster LIVE.
Today will be run and interesting to watch, as these storylines take shape.
