Martin seeking redemption

After covering Scott Martin for about 45 minutes, it was beginning to look like he was going to pick up right where he left off on Day 1. The Florida pro lost a few fish early, and as you would imagine, he was starting to get frustrated.

“What is going on bro,” he said. “I don’t know what is going on.”

Just a few short moments later, Martin boated a solid two-pound fish followed by a solid three-pounder.

So far on Day 2, it appears that significantly less anglers decided to make the run to Apopka, which could be good news for Martin. On Day 1, a lot of his areas were getting pressured, which shouldn’t be an issue today.

The wind direction has changed today, blowing straight into Martin’s primary areas. This change has forced him to fish back further into the reeds, and so far it’s payed off.

Expect Martin’s vast knowledge of fishing in Florida to help out tremendously on Day 2.
