Leaders limping, Mosley and Livesay on the move

A slow start for the leaders here on Day 2. Chad Pipkens has three for 2-10 in the boat, and he’s thankful for them, knowing he’s almost certainly punched his ticket to make the Top 50 cut and fish tomorrow. “We just made the Top 50”, said Hunter Shryock, as he boated his first and only keeper of the day. “We can just go fishing today.” Kenta Kimura has yet to boat a bass, fishing near the ramp this morning instead of making the 100-mile run like he did on Day 1.

Brock Mosley has made the biggest move this morning, charging up the leaderboard with an 8-pound limit and a 2- pounder in the mix. Lee Livesay has a 7-pound limit, with a 3-pounder. These two guys traded water on Day 1, with Mosley tipping Livesay off to a little something he figured out pitching a 4- inch stick bait around lily pads. We’re not sure this is what either angler is doing this morning, but with both having success flipping yesterday on LIVE, it’s highly likely they’re sticking with that pattern this morning.
