Kennedy is sight fishing

Yep, you read that correctly. What you see in this photo taken by Shane Durrance is Steve Kennedy striking the classic sight fisherman’s pose at close range. In the picture, he is casting to a grassy point, where the bottom is about a foot deep.

The ultra-clear water is enabling him to see fish movement, and even as they approach his bait to bite it. He is alternating between two: a popping-style frog and a trick worm. The latter lure is a follow-up bait to short strikers on the frog, or whenever he comes up on a sight fish.
