Yesterday I asked Jordan Lee what impresses him about Lake Oahe.
“It’s a big lake, one of the biggest we haver ever fished.”
And?
“Well, I don’t really know anything else. I don’t have much pulled together for a pattern.”
If that sounds familiar then it should. Jordan Lee, the definition of chill, does his best in these very circumstances. Two cases in point occurred at Lake Conroe and Lake Hartwell, At both fisheries Lee was laid-back and unconcerned about his place in the standings. Of course, both events were Bassmaster Classics, which he won. In neither tournament did he claim to have a structured pattern.
Point is the anglers are fishing uncharted water, Lee included. So keeping an open mind as he always does might pay off here. BASSTrakk currently shows Lee in first place.
