Jordan Lee has about 28 pounds with a limit weighing about 11-0.
He’s just done the sensible thing and beached his boat. You can see in this screen shot from LIVE that Lee has taken refuge beneath a campground picnic pavillion.
“You’re not going to catch anything in the 30-plus miles per hour of winds,” he said. “It’s the smartest move I’ve made all year.”
Lee said he expects to be in rain delay mode for about a half an hour. By the looks of the radar that will be much later.
Lee is in a good place for a couple reasons. The first is obvious. The other is catching an early limit on (insert lure here). I’m not allowed to say what he’s using even though it’s clearly visible on LIVE. Let’s just call it a plastic topwater lure.
Lee is fishing in a backwater area off the river for good reasons. The river channel is getting muddy. More vital is his area has key habitat that fits the lure he’s using to catch his bass.
