Inshore, offshore fishing

Judging by the backgrounds of the photos coming into the blog from marshals it’s obvious the bite is on both directions. 

You see Keith Combs fishing offshore while John Crews is casting along a grassy, inundated shoreline. 

See what I mean from this shot from BASSTrakk. You can’t see the names but the boat icons provide an example of what we’re talking about. 

It’s early in the morning and obviously the shallow bite, or topwater/reaction bite, is a critical part of strategies during this timeframe. Later on we’ll take a look and see if boats concentrate in deeper water. With fish supposedly shallow and deep it’ll be interesting to see which bite, if either, produces best.
