Full moon, warming temps

What do you get with a full moon and warming temperatures in mid-February in Central Florida?

The sum of the whole is the perfect setup for a big bass slugfest. Here’s the latest from Andy Crawford.

He just called to report the water temperature is 62 degrees where Lake Harris and Little Lake Harris meet. That’s where this photo was taken at 7:30 a.m. ET.

If it’s 62 degrees in the lake, just think how much warmer the water is inside the canals, known for producing heavyweight limits in such conditions.

Will the weigh-in be a parade of 20-pound-plus bags? Early indications indicate it’s possible.

Yesterday when doing Dock Talk, anglers reported the water temperature, on average, was in the upper 50s, so the warmup is legit. Today’s forecast calls for a high of 85, after Wednesday night lows were in the balmy low 60s.

Get ready, this could be a fun, entertaining day of watching great catches on Bassmaster LIVE.
