Communication has been a problem in the wide open spaces of The Great Lakes today. We've had none so far from Aaron Martens, who is fishing Lake Erie, where he saw only one other Elite Series angler all day yesterday.
But we just got word from cameraman Brian Mason, who is with Edwin Evers. Mason said Evers has 19 pounds.
If that's accurate, it should vault Evers from 79th place, where he started the day, into the Top 50 cut for Saturday. And that would be one helluva comeback from Thursday.
