It's a common expression among tournament anglers: If I can just get a big bite. Well, Shaye Baker got a big bite about 1 o'clock – a 10-pounder. Baker thinks he has about 22 pounds for the day.
Several anglers this morning mentioned how the fish should get more active as the day goes on and the water continues to warm.
"I feel like it's going to be more of a late bite today," said Keith Poche prior to takeoff. "It may come down to your last cast of the day. You've just got to stay positive."
As you might imagine, Shaye Baker is feeling absolutely positive right now.
