When only 9 pounds separates first place from 50th place (1. Mark Davis, 33-1; 50th, Yusuke Miyazaki, 24-11) after two days on Table Rock Lake, you know that anyone fishing today has a chance to win this tournament. Focusing even tighter, first and 10th were separated by only 2-11 on Day One; the margin increased to only 4-3 Friday.
It's unlikely that anyone will put any distance between himself and the rest of the field today. For once the wind isn't blowing. Wind is always your friend on clear Ozark lakes like Table Rock, even if it's blowing cold air, like yesterday. There's barely a ripple on the water surface today.
Another factor working against the anglers is that it's the second day after a cold front, a notoriously tough time to catch fish anywhere.
In other words, this tournament probably won't be decided until the final hours Sunday.
