After watching Jared Miller for a few minutes we saw a handful of people coming off the interstate and through the woods…the Miller family.
They knew he intended to spend some time here and arrived in time to see him catch his limit fish.
“We are from Oklahoma,” his sister said. “We’re not afraid to walk through the mud.”
Miller reported that he caught all of his fish so far on a jig his dad made for him. They have an easy conversation going, as if he was not fishing for $300,000. It is only drowned out by the occasional honking passerby.
