Inside Kristine Fischer’s Ranger

Take a look inside Kristine Fischer's Ranger Alpha 208 to see how she rigs and organizes her boat.

Kristine Fischer is renowned as a top kayak angler, winning multiple events nationwide.
She recently started fishing out of a Ranger Alpha 208 Aluminum rig in addition to her kayak tournaments.
We were fortunate enough to get a tour of Kristine’s Ranger to see how she sets it up for success.
At the bow, Kristine has a Minn Kota Ultrex QUEST with all the goodies.
She utilizes both a Humminbird MEGA 360 transducer as well as a Garmin LVS34 transducer .
Her front setup features a Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 126SV for Livescope and a Humminbird Apex 13 for MEGA 360 and mapping.
Bass Boat Technologies mounts keep her graphs secure and out of the way.
There is no shortage of storage space in her Ranger.
Kristine keeps all of her rods in the left side rod locker.
Her right side locker and day box are filled tackle, there are even some musky baits.
Kristine pulled out her favorite bait binder, full of frogs.
The Berkley Swamp Lord Popping frog is a favorite of Kristine.
It won’t be long before this frog has teeth marks all over it.
Considering this is an aluminum boat, the front deck is huge. 12 rods on the deck and still plenty of space to fish multiple people.
Kristine’s cooler is used as a catch all in addition to holding her drinks and snacks.
Her Alpha 208 has tool storage slits where she keeps her pliers and scissors.
A couple big graphs at the console make the Ranger look mean.
Moving back to the console of the Ranger, Kristine has a Lowrance HDS 12 Live on the left for mapping, and a Humminbird Apex 13 for imaging and more mapping.
Comfortable seating at the console, ideal for navigating and monitoring the boat’s electronic systems.
The Ranger features two charging ports for phones and other accessories.
The Ranger has a digital gauge system where all of the boat and motor functions are monitored.
Behind the driver’s seat, she keeps essentials – graph covers, rope and her rainsuit.

This box would be empty for her coangler or team pertner in a tournament, but in the meantime she keeps more essentials in a waterproof bag.
Moving to the battery compartment, there is no shortage of available space.
Kristine utilizes Tracker lithium batteries to power her Ultrex QUEST and all of her electronics.
She keeps the hydraulic pumps for her Power-Poles around her batteries.
She fancies the NOCO Genius charger to keep her batteries charged.
Twin 8-foot Power-Pole Blades surround her Mercury.
A big Mercury 250 Pro XS pushes around her Ranger.

Looking good!
Kristine’s next trip was up at St. Clair, she had her flogger at the ready for any spawning fish she might encounter.
A big fan of YETI products, Kristine keeps a big bottle in the boat to keep from using too many plastic bottles. As you can tell, she likes smallies.
Kristine shows off a couple of her musky rods for her next trip up north.
Thanks for the tour, Kristine!
