Increasingly, it appears that DeGray Lake is presenting a new puzzle to be solved today. First-day leaders Brandon Gray and Todd Massey, who had 14-2 yesterday, have only one keeper so far today.
The North Carolina anglers are fishing the same dropoff up the Caddo River where they caught 'em Wednesday, but have only one keeper at mid-morning today. They said the lack of sunshine appears to be the biggest factor working against them today.
Also, the water surface temperature here has dropped from 54 degrees to 51 overnight.
There's still plenty of time to figure out the changing bite at DeGray, but the weather forecast for the remainder of the day is for pretty much what's here now: a high temperature that will remain in the 40s and overcast skies.
