Good morning from Fort Loudon Lake, where it’s 7:30 a.m. at Tellico Dam.
This is the final destination for a group of anglers choosing to fish in this narrow passage between Fort Loudoun Lake and Tellico Lake.
Nearby is Fort Loudoun Dam, and below it, Watts Bar Lake.
This narrow canal is ideal for smallmouth fishing.
Right on time, the first round of boats arrives after a 40-minute or so run from Downtown Knoxville.
In the foreground is Drew Benton, who just landed a keeper while set up on a drift.
