On this off day, Brandon prepared for the final day of the AOY Championship at Mille Lacs in Minnesota. The next day he won the title.

The full-sized refrigerator has all staples needed for a road trip. To fill it Tiffanie shopped at grocery stores from Texas to New York and points in between. Brandon fished the entire Bassmaster Elite Series schedule, and the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Northern Opens. Only nine days were spent back home in Idaho.

Two must haves in the freezer. Elk is a favorite protein meal, and caffeine is a must for kick starting the brain when most days begin before sunrise. Hunting is a favorite offseason pastime, and this elk is the reward from a hunt.

That soon changed. The day after the AOY championship the hats, RV and a truck and boat headed back to Hayden, Idaho. With a happy girlfriend, tail-wagging dog and the new 2017 Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year.
