BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — B&W Trailer Hitches, an employee-owned manufacturer of trailer hitches and aftermarket truck and trailer accessories, has signed a deal to become a grass-roots sponsor of the TNT Fireworks B.A.S.S. Nation Series and Bassmaster Team Championship.
The B.A.S.S. Nation series includes five regional championships, a national championship and the Bassmaster Team Championship. The Top 3 Championship finishers and winner of the Team Championship Classic Fish-Off will qualify for the 2021 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk.
“It is an honor to have B&W Trailer Hitches partnering with the B.A.S.S. Nation as we expand this tournament series and the opportunities it offers for both weekend anglers and those anglers who aspire to one day fish professionally,” said B.A.S.S. CEO Bruce Akin.
It is an opportunity to reach anglers across all competitive levels that has B&W particularly excited to sponsor the B.A.S.S. Nation.
“Like the anglers in the B.A.S.S. Nation, B&W is a group of folks who are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the results they get,” said Beth Marlow, Marketing Director for B&W. “So many B&W employees are avid fishermen who live for weekends and a chance to get out on the water.”
Founded in 1987, B&W made headlines in 2008, when owner Joe Works paid his employees their full salary to perform work around Humboldt, Kan., including refurbishing baseball diamonds and restoring buildings.
